Viscose twill dressmaking fabrics are perfect for creating garments that will transition into the cooler months. They have a little more weight and texture than a viscose challis or poplin, but still drape beautifully. The fabric is soft to the touch, with a slight brushed finish, and is highly breathable. This makes it ideal for shirts, blouses, and dresses.

Because it is slightly heavier than a challis and poplin it is perfect for to make something to transition into the cooler months. It is soft to touch, similar to a slight brushed finish to the surface, it is breathable and can be washed at 30 degrees although there will be some shrinkage on the first wash. Approximately 5%.
This is such a versatile dressmaking fabric, it can be used in a multitude of garment types. Blouses, midi/maxi dresses. This will be wonderful as a ruffles on the bottom of a skirt. Also lovely as billowy sleeves, a cardigan or long fall jacket. Pj’s and loose style palazzo trousers.
