What is Fibre Mood?

Fibre Mood is a magazine dedicated to sewing patterns, primarily catering to women but also featuring designs for children and men. It offers abundant style inspiration for each pattern it showcases.

The magazine is structured into three main sections:

1. The first section presents the patterns featured in the magazine through line drawings and captivating photo shoots, along with style inspiration.


2. The second section contains the patterns themselves, which are provided on pull-out A1 sheets, folded and stapled into the magazine. These patterns are color-coded, similar to Burda patterns, making them easier to trace. Some patterns also offer various style variations.


3. The third section includes fabric suggestions, fabric requirements, a size chart, and finished garment measurements for each pattern. Basic instructions are depicted through illustrations in the magazine, although they lack written instructions. However, fully illustrated instructions for each pattern can be downloaded for free here in English, French, Dutch, and German. Additional tips on using the magazine can also be found here.

Please Note: Sewing patterns in the magazine are printed without seam allowances. Therefore, you must add seam allowances when tracing your pattern pieces.
