People often ask is what the difference is between our Pima cotton lawn and our cotton lawn products. Pima cotton is most closely comparable to Egyptian cotton in that it shares long-fibered tensile strength and an amazingly soft feel. Pima cotton was first produced in Peru, but has been named after the Pima tribe of Native Americans who began cultivation of the plant in the US. It is a beautiful fabric and almost feels like silk (I am just trying to get over to you how smooth and beautiful it is) It has a beautiful weight so it is fine without being see though. It is stunning to sew with and even better to wear.
