For the facing and placket pieces, the designer suggests non-stretch fabrics such as outerwear fabrics, faux leather, or faux suede to maintain structure and durability.

Regarding the lining, select a lining fabric made of artificial fibers (e.g., viscose), blends (such as viscose and elastane, or viscose and polyester), or synthetics (like polyester, polyester and elastane). These linings will complement the jacket's design and provide comfort.
