Description

Blake is a semi-fitted, gently flared skirt boasting a straight silhouette. Its waist is elegantly finished with a facing, eliminating the need for a separate waistband. Waist darts adorn both the front and back, while centre seams lend sophistication. An invisible zipper and a meticulously finished slit grace the centre back seam. Side seam pockets offer convenience, and a free-hanging lining ensures a polished look. Blake falls gracefully to midi length.

Recommended Fabric

Dress-weight wool, suiting fabrics.

Choose dress-weight fabrics with the following properties:

- Medium weight, with good drape, soft, non-stretch or with very little stretch, opaque

- The fiber content can include natural fibres (wool, silk, cotton, linen), artificial fibres (viscose), blends (wool + silk, wool + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.), and synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane)

ATTENTION: Stretchy knit fabrics and lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace) are NOT reccommended.

For the lining: fabrics made of artificial fibres (viscose), blends (viscose + elastane, viscose + polyester), or synthetics (polyester, polyester + elastane).

• Lightweight knit or woven interfacing, 140 cm (55") wide, for all sizes in all heights - 0.5 m (1/2 yd)

• One invisible zipper, 25 cm (9 7/8") long, for all sizes in all heights

• Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape, 1-1.5 cm (3/8–5/8") wide - 1.1 m (1 1/4 yd)

• Matching thread - 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine + 4 spools for the overlocker)
