Description

Demi is a laid-back, loose-fit blouse characterised by a straight silhouette. It incorporates bust darts in the front and shoulder darts along with a central seam in the back. The long, set-in sleeves offer a relaxed fit, while a crew neckline with a button and button loop closure adds a stylish touch. The side seams are slit at the hem, and Demi falls to hip length, with the front being 4cm (1 5/8") shorter than the back.

Recommended Fabric

Chiffon, crepe de chine, silk, silk crepe, silk atlas, cupro, cady, lace, dress-weight wool, silk velvet.

Choose woven fabrics with the following properties:

- Light to medium weight, fluid, breathable, soft, non-stretch or with very little stretch;

- The fiber content can include natural fibres (wool, silk, cotton, linen), artificial (viscose), blends (wool + silk, wool + polyester, cotton + viscose, etc.) and synthetic (polyester, polyester + elastane);

ATTENTION: Stretchy knits and heavy weight fabrics (suitings, tweed, denim) are NOT recommended.

• Lightweight woven or knit fusible interfacing, 140cm (55”) wide, for all sizes and heights - 15 cm (5 7/8”)

• 1x button, 0.7-1 cm (1/4”–3/8”) in diameter

• Stitched bias-cut fusible stay tape with stitch reinforcement - 1 m (1 1/8 yd)

• Matching thread - 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine and 4 spools for the overlocker)
