The Bloom Skirt suits light to medium-weight wovens like cotton poplin, linen, chambray, lightweight denim, satin, and taffeta. Choose a stiffer fabric for structure or viscose for a softer drape. The scallop hem is easiest to sew in stable fabrics like poplin.

For a formal look, try taffeta with a contrast hem or navy satin. A bold print in linen or silk makes a statement, while linen or poplin creates a stylish everyday skirt. Originally midi-length, it can be easily adjusted, with brocade or Broderie Anglaise making a stunning maxi.
